How to install hfw 4.85.1 on ofw 4.85 and install hen
Step 1:
Format your USB Stick to FAT32
Download HFW 4.85.1
Extract File HFW_4.85.1_08_28_2019
Rename HFW_4.85.1_PS3UPDAT To PS3UPDAT
Create a new folder called PS3 on your FAT32 USB
Open PS3 folder and create a new folder called “UPDATE”
move your PS3UPDAT to your “UPDATE” folder
Step 2:
Update PS3 to HFW 4.85
Go to system settings>system update
Select update via USB
Sometimes update by usb does not work .. try to update by using Safe Mode
plug in your PS3 console and hold down the power button until your PS3 turns off then let go of the power button
then hold the power button again until you hear 2 quick beeps next to each other , let go of power button
you are now in recovery mode
plug your usb cable in to your ps3 controller
navigate to “system update” press x
make sure your usb flash drive is connected to the furthest right usb port
press start and select together at the same time
follow on screen instructions to install hfw 4.85.1
Step 3:
in xmb menu navigate to and select “internet browser”
press triangle , choose search
enter “http://ps3xploit.com/“
go to top left corner and select “PS3HEN” then select “Hen Installer fixed”
